We spend most of our time up here on the 5th floor of The Retreat. Being on 4th Road in Natwarnagar has its perks, mostly because of the snacks you can find downstairs. It’s an old building but it does the job. Most mornings start with someone trying to fix the kettle and the usual talk about the traffic getting here. Our space is pretty crowded with desks and files everywhere. You can see a bit of the neighborhood from the windows if you stand in the right spot. It’s not fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re used to the color now. We’ve been at this address for a while and the locals know us by sight. Usually, there’s a lot of paperwork on the tables and someone is always on the phone. We keep a few plants near the door, though they don’t always look great. People come and go throughout the day. It gets noisy when everyone is talking at once, but that’s just how it is. Sometimes we forget to lock the back cabinet. It’s just us, working away in Natwarnagar. We don’t have any big corporate banners or anything like that. Just a small sign outside so people don't get lost in the hallway. It’s a busy spot but we manage. We’ve been on this floor since we started and it feels like a second home to most of us. The stairs are steep so we're thankful for the elevator, even if it's slow.
