You can find us over at the Government Industrial Estate in Kandivali West, specifically at Plot No. 94/A. We’re right across from Sahayadri Nagar, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to tell a driver where to go. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of different factories, and we’re right in the middle of it. We do a lot of manufacturing work here. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings or dust from whatever we’re cutting or shaping that day. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s just how it is when you’re making things. We have several machines running most of the time, and the guys are used to the noise. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running since 8 AM. We have a small office section where we handle the billing and the drawings for new parts. It’s mostly just files and a few computers that have seen better days. We don’t really do anything fancy for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes dealing with a shipment or checking a tolerance on a part. We’ve been in this spot for a while and we know all the neighbors. It’s a busy, gritty kind of life, but we like the fact that we’re actually producing something tangible. Every day is different depending on what the latest order is from our clients.
