Eclerx is mostly handled through email these days, specifically through the Salgaonkar.Chetan@Gmail.Com address. It’s a bit of a different way to run things than a traditional storefront on a main road. We don’t really have a big physical lobby for people to sit in while they wait. Instead, most of the talk happens digitally. It keeps things quick, though sometimes you miss seeing a real face across the desk. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing out replies. It works for us. Since everything is online, we don't have to worry about local traffic or if the office roof is leaking during a storm. You just log in and start the day’s work. There are a few of us who manage the flow of messages. It gets busy in the afternoons when everyone seems to send their requests at once. We try to keep things organized so nothing gets lost in the inbox. It is a very direct way to operate. No fancy stationery or heavy furniture to move around. Just the internet and a computer setup. Sometimes the internet slows down, and that’s a headache, but usually, it’s fine. We handle the tasks as they come in. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do, even if it feels a bit less personal than an old-fashioned shop.
