Working out of No 402 in Hyde Park along Saki Vihar Road keeps us right in the middle of everything in Andheri East. It is a busy part of the city, and our office reflects that energy. We are up on the fourth floor in the complex. Most of our day is spent looking at logistics and making sure orders are moving. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of tape dispensers and people talking on phones. We have been in this spot for a bit, so we have gotten used to the rhythm of the Saki Vihar Road traffic. The office has a lot of files and samples scattered around. We try to keep it tidy, but when things get busy, the desks get covered pretty fast. We aren't big on formal meetings; usually, we just talk across the desks to get things sorted. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the tasks at hand. It is a practical environment where everyone knows their role. We don't go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on the hardware and the schedules. Being in Andheri East means we are close to a lot of our contacts, which is handy. It’s just a group of people trying to do a decent job every day without making too much of a fuss about it. We keep the kettle on for when we need a short breather.
