Eat Around The Corner

We are located at Bandra 110, right on the corner like the name says. It’s an old building and it has some character to it. The windows are big so you can watch the people walking their dogs or heading to work in the morning. We open up pretty early to get the coffee going and the tables set. It’s a lot of routine work, like wiping down the benches and making sure the napkins are stocked for the day. We get a mix of people, some who stay for hours with a book and others who are in a huge rush to get to an appointment. The kitchen is tucked away and it’s always busy with someone washing dishes or prepping vegetables. We didn't want a place that felt too stiff or professional, so we just decorated with things we liked ourselves. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it’s hot outside in the afternoon. Sometimes the overhead lights flicker a bit but we haven't gotten around to fixing the wiring yet. It’s a nice spot to just sit and exist for a while. We know most of the people who live in the apartments nearby. They come in for the same thing every day and we usually have it ready before they even ask for it. It’s not about being the fanciest place in Bandra, it’s just about being here on the corner for whoever needs a seat and a meal.
