Our place is in Andheri West, which is a part of Mumbai that never seems to slow down. We are over in the A-Wing of Mahesh Apartments, in room 502. We are close to the Gilbird area, so if you are local, you probably know the spot. We run a logistics business from here. It’s a pretty simple setup. We don't have a big corporate office with a sign on the roof. It’s just a regular apartment building where we have set up our desks and equipment. We spend most of our time talking to transporters and making sure deliveries are on track. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking on a late truck or sorting out the customs papers. It gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but that’s Andheri for you. We are just regular people trying to do a good job. We don’t use a lot of big words or have complicated processes. We just try to be honest with our clients about when their stuff will arrive. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai slows everything down, and we have to spend the whole day on the phone adjusting the schedules. It is a bit of a grind, but we like the work. Being in a residential building means it feels a bit more like a community here, which is nice. We focus on the practical side of logistics and just get on with it day in and day out.
