Earth Chemicals & Scientific

Our office at Earth Chemicals & Scientific is located in Flat No 20 of Building No 2/22. Being in the Marine Lines and Chandkheda area means we deal with a lot of different people and companies every day. It is a bit of an old building, so the stairs are narrow and the walls have that aged look to them that you find in this part of town. Inside, we have stacks of paperwork and glass equipment sitting on the tables. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly checking orders and making sure the chemicals are handled properly and safely. We do not have a big storefront with windows; it is more like a dedicated workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the delivery guys have a hard time finding the right building number, so we spend a bit of time on the phone giving directions. We keep a few chairs for guests, but most of the room is taken up by boxes ready to be sent out to customers. It is not the kind of place where you would come just to browse around. We focus on the scientific side of things, making sure everything is labeled and stored in the right spot. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high, and we usually have the radio playing softly in the background. It feels like a lived-in space because we spend so many hours here every week. It is just a plain office.
