Dymaxion Architects

We've been at this spot in Matunga 402 for a while now. It’s just a small space where we sit and work on drawings most of the day. People sometimes ask what the name means, but mostly we just focus on the projects that come through the door. It gets busy here, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking to contractors on the phone. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a few years. It’s not a fancy office with leather chairs or anything like that. Just some desks, computers, and a lot of paper rolls lying around. Most of our work is local, so we know the neighborhood pretty well. If you walk past, you might see us hunched over our screens. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone they know mentioned our name. It's a straightforward setup. We handle the technical side of things and try to make sure the measurements are right before any brick gets laid. It’s quiet work, really. Just trying to figure out how to make a space function properly without overthinking it. We like being in Matunga. It’s a good area with a lot of character, and being at 402 puts us right in the thick of it. That’s pretty much the whole story of us.
