Dwarka Veg Restaurant. We sit right at Shimpoli Cross in Borivali West. It's a corner that sees a lot of movement throughout the day. People coming from the station or just walking around the neighborhood stop in. We keep the menu simple, mostly just the usual vegetarian stuff everyone likes. The mornings are for tea and breakfast, mostly idlis and vadas going out fast. It’s a bit noisy because of the traffic at the cross, and the fans are always humming. We’ve got a few workers who have been with us for years. They know how the locals like their sambar. The tables are basic and we don't spend much time on decor. It's more about getting people fed and on their way. Sometimes we have a queue during lunch hours because Borivali is just like that, always moving. We try to keep the floors clean but with so many people coming in with dusty shoes, it’s a constant job. There’s no big secret to what we do here. We just open up early and stay open until the dinner crowd thins out. It’s a standard veg place where you know what you’re going to get. Nothing more, nothing less.
