General Sales Corporation

Our shop is at No. 503 Dunkan Road, which is right near Gulal Wadi on Maulana Azad Road. It’s a very crowded part of the city, but it’s where all the action is. General Sales Corporation has been in this spot for years. We deal with a lot of different items, mostly things people need for their own shops or projects. The building is old and the layout is a bit cramped. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with stock. It’s a bit of a maze inside. We spend our days talking to customers and checking the inventory. There’s always a lot of noise from the street—vendors calling out and bikes zipping past. It’s just the way it is here. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people just come to the counter and tell us what they are looking for. We go back and find it in the stacks. It’s a simple way of doing business that has worked for us. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is something we always look forward to. We aren’t interested in becoming a big corporation with lots of rules. We just like running our own place and helping the people who come through the door. If you’re around Gulal Wadi, you’ll probably see our sign. We are usually there working away.
