Dull Designs

We are based in the Glitz Mall at 317/B, right on Kalbadevi Road in the 99 Vitthalwadi area. Despite the name Dull Designs, we usually have a lot going on here throughout the day. The mall is in a really old and busy part of the city, so getting here can be quite an adventure with all the traffic and crowds. Our space is on the third floor, and it’s a mix of a working studio and a storage room for our supplies. We have sketches pinned to the walls and all sorts of fabrics or materials scattered around on the big wooden tables. It’s not a perfectly clean or organized studio; it’s a place where we actually make things and try out different ideas. Kalbadevi is always loud, and that noise definitely makes its way into the mall, but we’ve gotten used to it over the months. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us who like designing things and seeing them come to life. The shop is small, so we have to be careful not to trip over the boxes that seem to pile up. We spend our days drinking tea, working on the computer, and talking to the different vendors downstairs. It’s a bit cluttered and sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work right, but it’s where we do our best work. People come in to see us, and we're always around.
