Our setup is in Kharghar at Sec 20, specifically L-701. Dubai Ports World is a big name globally, but here in this office, it’s just a handful of us managing things. We don’t have a massive warehouse at this specific address; it’s more for the administrative side of the business. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and tracking where the cargo is at any given time. Kharghar is a nice enough place to work, though it’s a bit quiet compared to the city center. We don’t have any shiny office furniture or expensive decorations. It’s a functional space where we handle all the details that keep the ports running. Sometimes the work is a bit repetitive, just checking lists and sending emails back and forth. We don’t talk like those corporate types you see on TV. We just use plain English and try to be clear about what’s happening with the shipments. It can be a bit of a headache when there are delays at the port, but we just try to manage it as best as we can. We’ve been at this Sector 20 location for some time and we’ve got a good routine. There’s a lot of coordination involved with different people, and we just try to keep everyone on the same page. It’s a steady job and we like the local feel of the neighborhood here in Navi Mumbai.
