Dream Tone Studio

Dream Tone Studio is tucked away at G-2 in the Dilkap Chambers. We are right behind Balaji Telefilms on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West. It’s a busy part of Andheri, always full of people from the film and music world. The studio itself is soundproofed, so once you step inside, the noise of the traffic disappears. It’s a relief from the heat outside. We have some heavy curtains and a lot of microphones standing around. The carpet is a bit worn out in the spots where we walk the most. We spend long hours in the dark, looking at sound waves on the monitors. There’s always a half-empty cup of coffee on the mixing desk. People come in to record all sorts of things, and we just help them get the sound right. We don’t have any fancy signs outside, just the name on the door. The building is an older one, and the elevator is a bit slow, so we usually just take the stairs to the ground floor. It’s a lived-in space that feels like home to us. We’ve had a lot of late nights here trying to finish a mix for someone. It’s not about being famous; it’s just about making things sound the way they should. The neighborhood is great for grabbing a quick bite late at night when we finally finish a session. We have been here for years.
