Dr Rizwans Unani Clinic And Research Centre is located right in the middle of the Erskine Road Bazar. We are using Shop Number 3 and 4 in the Ismail Building, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other spots around here. Being in the bazaar means it is always noisy outside with the sounds of carts, people shouting, and motors running. It is a very lively part of town. Inside the clinic, it is a bit quieter, though you can still hear the city through the windows. We focus on Unani methods and do some research work too, so there are always books and some old-fashioned bottles around. The Ismail Building is easy to spot because of the way the shops are lined up right on the edge of the street. Sometimes the light inside is a bit dim, but it helps keep the place feeling cool when the sun is beating down on the bazaar. We don't have fancy leather sofas or anything like that, just some sturdy benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. People stop by after they finish their shopping or on their way home from work. It is a very busy place, and we are usually juggling two or three things at once. It feels good to be part of the daily life in this market area where everyone is just trying to get things done.
