Dr D Y Patil Gym

Dr D Y Patil Gym is situated inside the Vidyanagar Campus in Nerul, specifically in the 4 B area. Since we are part of the university grounds in Sector 7, there are always a lot of students running around. It gives the place a lot of energy, which is nice when you're trying to wake up in the morning. We have plenty of space, but it can get quite busy during the afternoons when classes let out. It’s not just for the students, though; plenty of people from around Navi Mumbai come here too. The equipment is sturdy and we try to keep it in good shape, though things do break occasionally with so many people using them every day. We just fix them up and keep going. It’s a straightforward gym without any of the fancy lighting or loud music you see in the city. The windows stay open for the breeze, and it’s mostly just the sound of iron clanking. We’ve been part of the campus for a long time now. It’s a very practical place to get a workout done without any nonsense. No one really cares what you’re wearing as long as you’re here to work. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it’s good for your legs. We’re just here doing our thing and helping people stay fit in the Nerul area. Most days we are here until late.
