Our place is in Goregaon East, specifically in the Ganesh Nagar Society. It is tucked away in Gogtewadi. If you are familiar with Mumbai, you know Goregaon can be a bit of a maze with all the small societies and industrial pockets. We are at B-55. The office is pretty modest. It is a regular room with some desks pushed against the walls to make more space in the middle. We have a lot of files stacked up because there is always something to keep track of. Working in Goregaon means a lot of us spend time on the Western Express Highway or the local trains. The air in the office is usually thick with the smell of the city, and we keep the fans going at full speed. It is a practical workspace. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We handle the technical side of things and spend a lot of time looking at data and reports. The society itself is quiet enough during the day while everyone is at work. We have been here for a bit, and it has become our second home. We know which drawer has the good pens and which chair squeaks too much. It is just a normal Mumbai office where we put in our hours and try to keep things organized. There is no point in pretending it is something it is not.
