Ashad Solar Enterprises

Ashad Solar Enterprises is located on the second floor of Mehboob Mansion. It’s Room 16, just off 2nd Flank Road. To be honest, the stairs can be a bit of a climb when you’re carrying equipment, but it keeps us fit. We’ve been working with solar stuff for a while now because it just makes sense with how much sun we get here. Our office isn't very big, mostly just some desks and some solar panels leaning against the walls waiting to be moved. We spend a lot of time out on sites anyway, so we don't need a huge place to sit. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others keeping things running. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy coffee machine. If someone comes by, we just pull up a spare chair and talk. Dealing with the paperwork for solar can be a headache sometimes, but we’ve gotten the hang of it over the years. Building No. 5 has a lot of history and it’s right in the middle of everything. It can get pretty loud outside with the traffic on Flank Road, but we don’t mind the noise much. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just helping people get their lights on using the sun. It’s practical work. We usually finish up late and lock the heavy gate downstairs before heading home to rest for the next day.
