You can find us at Dolphin Instruments on Kalbadevi Road. We’re on the ground floor of Jbf House, right in Old Post Office Lane. It’s a very narrow lane, so it’s always crowded with people and handcarts. If you aren't looking for it, you might walk right past. The office is old, but it’s solid. We’ve been here for a long time. We deal with different kinds of instruments. The shelves are full of boxes and old catalogs. It’s a bit dark inside because the lane doesn’t get much sun. We have a couple of desks and a small area where we check the equipment. It’s a lot of technical work. We aren't a big shop with a fancy display. People usually come to us because they know we have what they need. It’s a lot of testing and making sure things work correctly. Sometimes we have to repair things that come back. My dad started this place years ago. Now I’m here most days. It’s a busy part of the city. There’s always someone shouting outside or the sound of bells. We don’t mind it. We’re used to the noise. It’s just how Kalbadevi is. We take our work seriously but we don't act like a big corporation. We’re just local people doing our thing. The wooden counters have been here since the start and they’re worn smooth in the spots where people lean on them.
