Dolat International Pvt Ltd is located on the 4th floor of the Ameya Co-Op Housing Society. We are right on Sane Guruji Marg in Lalbaug, Mumbai. Being in Lalbaug means it’s always busy outside, especially during the festivals. Our office is tucked away in this residential-style building, which is pretty common for businesses in this part of Mumbai. We’ve got room 405. It’s a small space, but we fit everyone in. We do international work, so there’s a lot of talk about shipping ports and customs clearances. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so sometimes it’s faster to just walk up the stairs if you aren't carrying much. We have a lot of files stacked up because the international side of things involves so much paper. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything fancy. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning, drink some cutting chai, and handle the business of moving goods across borders. We know the neighbors in the building well. It feels like a small community here. We just focus on getting the job done and making sure nothing gets stuck at the docks. It’s a simple, hardworking environment without any of the corporate fluff you see in the bigger towers. We keep our heads down and just handle the daily export and import tasks that come our way.
