Dilip Chhabria Design P.Ltd

We have been based at the Keytuo Industrial Compound on Kondivita Road for quite a long time now. It’s not a fancy area, just a lot of industrial buildings and trucks moving in and out all day. Dilip Chhabria Design P.Ltd is tucked away in one of those spots. Most days it’s pretty loud because of the machines and the metal work we do. There is always a layer of dust on the desks and the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We spend our time working on car bodies and trying to make things fit right. It’s a lot of hands-on labor. The guys here have been doing this for years and they don't need much direction. We just get on with it. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons, so we take breaks for tea quite often. My desk is a mess of papers and old sketches that I should probably throw away. It’s just a regular workplace. People come by to see what we are building, and we show them around the shop floor. There isn't a reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find someone. We aren't trying to be anything corporate. We just like the work and the smell of the shop. It’s what we know.
