Digitech Lights

Digitech Lights is tucked away in the Shreeji Bhuvan Building. We are up on the second floor in Unit 219. If you’ve ever been to Lohar Chawl in Mumbai, you know how crazy it gets. Mangaldas Road is always packed with people looking for electrical gear and lights. It’s a bit of a maze in this neighborhood. Our shop is small but we cram a lot into it. We spend most of our time showing people different bulbs and fixtures. The building is old, like most things in this part of town. The stairs can be a workout, especially in the heat. We don't have a fancy showroom with velvet curtains. It’s just shelves and boxes. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout to be heard. But that’s just the charm of Lohar Chawl. We’ve been in this unit for a good bit of time. Everyone around here knows each other. We might grab a vada pav from the corner when things get busy. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just sell lights and make sure they work. It’s a simple business in a very complicated part of the city. If you can find the right turn off Mangaldas Road, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually keep the fans running high all day just to stay cool while we sort through the latest inventory.
