Our office is on the 6th floor of the Ascot Centre in Andheri East. Being on Sahar Airport Road means we hear the planes all day long, but you get used to it after a week. It’s unit 601. The building is always busy with people coming and going. We focus on the trucking side of things here. There are a lot of phones ringing and people checking maps and schedules on their computers. Mumbai traffic is always a topic of conversation in the break room. Getting to work can be a struggle depending on the trains or the rain. The view from the 6th floor isn't much, just more of the city and the airport area. We have a small kitchen where we make coffee. It’s a standard office setup with desks and some whiteboards for planning. We aren't doing anything glamorous, just making sure things move from one place to another. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we wait around and chat. The atmosphere is generally quiet until something urgent comes up. Then it gets a bit louder. We've been in this spot for a while now. It’s a good location for what we do because it’s close to the heart of the logistics hub in the city. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a quick vada pav or a sandwich for lunch. The lobby downstairs is usually full of people and the security check takes a minute.
