Our office for Dhl Lemuir Logistics Pvt . Ltd. is at Room No. 3 in the J.B. Patil Chawl. We are located in Kharkar Ali, which is in Thane (West). The area is quite old and has a lot of character. Being in a chawl means the neighbors are very close and everyone knows what’s going on. Our room is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to drop in. It’s a small space, mostly filled with a large desk and some filing cabinets. The walls are painted a light blue, but they are starting to fade a bit. We have a small fan that wobbles when it is on high speed. It’s a very local way of working. We often talk to the people living next door while we are taking a break. The street outside is narrow, so it’s mostly just pedestrians and the occasional scooter. It stays quite cool inside because the walls are thick, which is a relief in the summer. We don't have any fancy technology here, just the basics like a computer and a printer. We handle the logistics paperwork and keep track of the local deliveries. It’s a very grounded way to work. We like being part of the Kharkar Ali community. It’s not a corporate office park, but it’s where we feel at home and get our work done every day.
