Dhl Express

We are at 805/C 22 in the Sarveksha Hsg Society, Charkop Sector 8 in Kandivali, Mumbai. Being in a housing society in Mumbai means things are always a bit tight and busy. We handle express deliveries, so there are always people coming in and out with envelopes and boxes of all sizes. The humidity in Kandivali can be pretty brutal, so the office is usually a bit sticky despite the fans. We have a small counter where we take in shipments and a back area where we sort everything. It’s a constant cycle of scanning barcodes and checking addresses. Sometimes people’s handwriting is so bad we have to spend ten minutes trying to figure out where a package is supposed to go. We are just regular people doing a job that never really stops because the mail never stops. The society is quite lively, so there’s always noise from kids playing or neighbors chatting outside. We’ve been here for a bit and everyone in the area knows where to find us. We don't have time for corporate speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on getting the packages into the right vans so they can get to the airport on time. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving crates around. We just keep our heads down and try to get every parcel out the door before the end of the shift.
