We are located at Chawl No 11/9 in the Mahakali Shivshankar Nagar area. Being in Santacruz East, things are always crowded and a bit chaotic. It is not a big fancy corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a spot in the chawl where we handle a lot of packages every single day. We see the same neighbors every morning and deal with the same traffic near New Agripada. Sometimes the monsoon rains make everything slow down, but we just keep at it. People stop by to send things to relatives far away or just across the city. Most of our day is just sorting through boxes and making sure the tape is stuck on right. The noise from the trucks and bikes outside never really stops. We drink a lot of tea and wait for the delivery vans to fight through the traffic to reach us. It’s a lot of manual work and checking labels under dim lights. We don't have a polished way of doing things, we just do what works. If the power goes out, we wait it out and then get back to scanning. It’s a simple life here in Mumbai. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to get the day’s work done before it gets too late. Working in this part of town means you have to be patient. That is just the way it goes for us here.
