You can find us at Dhinny House, right on the ground floor of building 163. We are located on 21st Road in the Dandapada area of Khar, Mumbai. Being in Mumbai, it’s always busy around here. There is always someone walking by or a bike zooming past. Our space isn’t very large, but it serves us well for what we do at Dhl Express. We spend our time sorting through packages and making sure the labels are right. It gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in, but we manage to find a place for everything. The 400052 area code is a lively part of the city to work in. We’ve got some good tea stalls nearby, which helps when we need a break. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We have our counters, our scales, and our computers. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. You see all sorts of people coming through the door with different items to send. Some are in a hurry, others want to chat for a bit. We just try to keep the line moving. Khar has its own rhythm and we have just become part of it over the years. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes the humidity makes things a bit sticky, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the work. We just try to get every parcel out on time before the sun goes down.
