Dhiren Enterprises

Our workplace is located at 59/A in the Giriraj Industrial Estate, right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise—trucks idling, machines humming, and people shouting across the loading bays. Dhiren Enterprises is just one of many small units here. We do a lot of general business activities, mostly handling supplies and logistics. The office space is quite compact, filled with filing cabinets and a few old computers that have seen better days. It gets really hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Mumbai. We usually keep the windows open, but that lets in the dust from the road. Our routine is pretty standard: we get in, check what needs to be shipped, and talk to the transporters. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been at this location for several years, so we’ve seen the surrounding area change quite a bit. There’s a tea stall just outside the gate where we go for breaks. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just try to stay on top of our orders and make sure the paperwork is in order. Dealing with the Andheri traffic is probably the hardest part of our day. Otherwise, it’s just about keeping the business moving and being reliable for the people we work with. It's honest work and we keep at it.
