You can find us at Room Number 147 in the Mehtab Chawl, which is part of Social Nagar on MG Road. We’re right near the Madina Masjid in Dharavi. It’s a very busy area, and there is never a quiet moment around here at any time of day. We make boxes, and our workspace is filled with cardboard, glue, and cutting tools from the floor to the ceiling. It’s a bit cramped in the chawl, but we’ve figured out a system that lets us get the work done. Super Star Boxes isn't a big factory; it's just a local operation where we work with our hands every day. The smell of paper and adhesive is something you just live with when you work here. We spend a lot of time measuring and folding, making sure the boxes are sturdy enough for whatever people want to put in them. Since we are near the mosque, we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which helps us keep track of time. People from all over the neighborhood come to us when they need packaging for their own small businesses. We don't have a fancy showroom. You just walk into the room and see us working. It’s hot and loud, especially with the fans going and the street noise coming in, but it’s our regular daily life. We just focus on finishing the stacks of boxes we have to do.
