Oasis International

Oasis International is located at No. 30- A in the Lala Compound on 60 Feet Road in Dharavi. If you have ever been to Dharavi, you know how much energy there is on the streets. Our compound is right in the middle of it all. We have a relatively small space, but we have organized it so everything fits. We deal with various items that come in and go out, so there is always a lot of packing and unpacking happening. The road outside is always busy with people and vehicles, which can make deliveries a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have been here for several years and have gotten used to the fast pace of the neighborhood. We know the other business owners in Lala Compound, and we often help each other out. Our team is small, just a few people who know the business inside and out. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big lobby. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through our stock. We don't use a lot of complicated systems. We just keep a simple log of what we are doing. It is a lot of hard work and the days can be long, but we like being part of the community here. We just focus on our daily tasks and take things as they come.
