DHANADAYINI NIDHI LIMITED

We have our small office set up at E-2/07 Jalnidhi CHS, right in the Mitha Nagar area on M. G. Road. It’s in Goregaon West, and if you’re from around Mumbai, you know how busy this part of town gets. We’ve been here for a good while now, just doing the daily work that comes with running a Nidhi company. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything. It is just a regular place where we sit at our desks and talk to the people who walk in. Most of the folks who come to us are from the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on paperwork and making sure the records are kept straight. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when too many people show up at once, but we manage to get things done. We don't have a big team of experts, just a few of us who know the local people and how things work around here. We drink a lot of tea and keep the fans going to beat the Mumbai heat. People come in to talk about their savings or just to check on things. We don't use any of those big marketing words you see in advertisements. We just speak plain English and keep it simple. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it seems to work for us and our members in Goregaon.
