Our workplace for Dg False Flooring & Technologies Pvt Ltd is actually over in Goregaon East, even though we do a lot of work in Vashi. We are set up in the Panchsheel Chs, which is part of the Mhada Bimbisar Nagar area. It is a typical Mumbai residential colony, so there is always something going on outside the window. Our unit, 402/27-B, is where we keep all our records and handle the technical side of the flooring business. It’s a lived-in space with plenty of folders and a few old computers that still do the job. We don’t have a big fancy office because we’d rather spend that money on better tools for our projects. Life here is fast-paced, and we are usually rushing to finish one thing so we can start the next. The commute can be tough, but we are used to the Goregaon rhythm by now. We are just a group of people who understand how to put technical floors together. You won’t find any polished presentations here, just a lot of hard work and maybe some crumbs from the snacks we eat at our desks. It’s a simple operation, run by folks who have been in the trade for a long time and don't see any reason to change how we do things. We just keep our heads down and make sure the measurements are right and the materials arrive on time.
