Devraj S Balisti

My name is Devraj S Balisti and I run my business out of Flat No 703 in the Shree Rajiv Co Op building. This is located in Borivali West, which is where I have been for quite a while now. Working from a residential co-op building means things are a lot quieter than they would be in a big office tower. I use the main room of the flat as my office, and I have a desk pushed up against the window so I can look out over the neighborhood while I work. It’s not a professional studio with a bunch of employees. It’s just me and occasionally a helper if things get really backed up. Borivali West is a nice place to be based because everything I need is just a short walk away. The building itself is well-maintained, but it definitely feels like a home more than a place of business. I don't have any flashy signs or posters. People usually find me through word of mouth or because they have my address written down. I spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away at my computer. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear them through the door, but I don’t mind. It’s a very human way to work. I’ve lived in this area for years, and I’m happy to be doing my thing right here in Shree Rajiv Co Op.
