Devandra Trading Traders

You can find Devandra Trading Traders at number 8 in Maruti Darshan, which is over in Powai. We are quite close to the Bhawan Petrol Pump, so that is usually how we tell people to find us. Powai has changed a lot over the years, becoming very modern, but our little corner feels a bit more traditional. The building we are in is steady and we have a good spot on the ground floor which makes moving goods much easier. Trading is basically what we do all day, talking to suppliers and checking the inventory we have in the back. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, moving crates and boxes around the small space we have. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The office part is just a desk with a ledger and a phone that rings more than it should. We get a lot of dust from the road because we are so close to the petrol pump and the main traffic flow. We usually take a break in the afternoon when it gets really quiet for an hour or so. It’s a simple life of buying and selling and making sure the numbers add up at the end of the month. Most of our customers are other businesses nearby who have known us since we opened up. We just keep going.
