Design Network

Design Network is based over in Borivali. It’s a regular office in a part of town that everyone knows for being crowded but lively. We’ve got a small space here that’s mostly filled with desks and a few cabinets for all the paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how much we try to go digital. The commute can be a bit of a grind depending on where you’re coming from, but once we’re in the office, things settle down. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for a while. We aren't into the whole high-end office look with glass partitions. We just have normal walls and some fans that we keep running all day. The window looks out onto another building, so there isn't much of a view, but we aren't here to look outside anyway. We usually get in early to beat the worst of the heat and the crowds. Most days are spent looking at designs and talking through ideas until we find something that works. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. We just call it work. There’s a small place around the corner that does good vada pav, so that’s often our lunch. We’re just local people running a local business in Borivali, trying to do a good job without making a big production out of it.
