Desicca Chemicals

Down here at No. 197/7718 in Kannamwar Nagar, things stay pretty busy with the chemical side of things. Vikhroli East is where we have set up shop, and it is a part of town that has a lot of history. Our space is mostly filled with bags and containers of different materials we use. We deal with desiccants and other stuff that keeps things dry, so we have to be careful about how everything is stored. The air always has a bit of a faint industrial smell to it, but you stop noticing it after the first ten minutes. It’s not a large operation, just a few of us making sure the orders are packed right and the inventory is counted. We spend a lot of time checking labels and moving things around the floor. The neighborhood is mostly residential blocks mixed with small commercial spots, so there is always people walking by or kids playing nearby. It feels very local. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrower parts of the colony, but we manage to get things loaded and unloaded without too much trouble. It is honest work, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just handle the chemicals, keep the records straight, and try to keep everything moving along day by day. It gets dusty sometimes, but that is part of the trade when you work with these materials.
