We are located at Shop No.2 in the West View building. You’ll find us on Pandurang Wadi Church Road in Goregaon East. It’s a local street that gets a lot of foot traffic from the people living in the area. Our shop is small and a bit crowded with all the things we handle. We’ve been here at Desai And Company for many years, so the walls have a few scuffs and the floor is a bit worn. It’s a regular neighborhood business where we deal with trading and various local services. We don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. Most people just walk in because they see our sign while they’re on their way to the church or the market. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and getting the ledger books ready. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk with the locals. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the stall down the road and sit for a minute before the next customer comes in. The street outside can be quite noisy with cars and people shouting, but we’re used to it by now. We just try to keep our stock in order and manage the daily paperwork. It’s an honest, simple way of doing business in Goregaon. We don’t pretend to be anything we aren’t. It’s just us in Shop No.2 doing our usual work every day.
