You can find us over at No. 6 Nilgiri in the Deonar Baug area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the docks, but it is where we handle all the paperwork and coordination for Universe Shipping Trade Links. We deal with moving goods from one place to another, which sounds easy but always has some kind of complication with the schedules or the containers. There is always a phone ringing or someone checking a tracking list. We aren't a massive shipping line with our own fleet of ships, but we act as the link that gets things moving through the system. Deonar is a familiar place for us, and being based in Nilgiri gives us a decent base to work from. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of files piled up. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and warehouse managers to make sure things are where they are supposed to be. It can be stressful when a shipment gets delayed at the port, but we just keep at it until it's sorted. We don't go in for fancy branding or big promises. We just try to get the boxes from point A to point B without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes everything slower, but that is just part of the job. We've been doing this long enough to know that things eventually get where they are going if you stay on top of the details.
