Deepam Light

Deepam Light is right on Lohar Street at number 31. If you know the area, you know it’s the place for everything related to lights and hardware. Our shop is small but it is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We have been here for quite a few years now. The street is always full of people looking for specific parts. We don't have much room for a big office, so we just have a small desk tucked in the back. Most of the day is spent helping people find the right bulb or wire. We don't use a lot of fancy technology to run things. We have our notebooks and we know where everything is kept. It’s dusty work because of all the boxes moving around. Sometimes the light in the shop isn't even that great, which is funny considering the name. We just try to be helpful when someone comes in with a broken lamp or a list of parts they need for a house. We aren't trying to grow into a massive chain. We are just happy being here on Lohar Street and seeing the regulars come back when they need something new. It’s a simple life and it works for us. We also keep a few spare parts for the older models that you can't find in the big stores anymore. Most people just want things to work again.
