Decorit Interior

We have our office in the Mughal Building on Ali Umer Street. If you know anything about Masjid Bunder in Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets every single day. It is a total maze of shops and people carrying heavy loads on their backs. Decorit Interior is our little space right in the middle of all that noise and chaos. The building itself is quite old, like most of the structures in this part of the city. We have samples of wood, laminates, and fabrics piled up in almost every corner. It is definitely not a fancy showroom like you would see in a mall. It is a working office where we figure out how to make people’s apartments look better. We spend half our time negotiating with vendors in the nearby markets and the other half trying to get materials delivered through the narrow lanes. It is a struggle sometimes with the traffic, but it is where we work. We do not have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. You just walk in and talk to whoever is not busy on the phone. We have been in Masjid Bunder for a long time now. We know the pulse of the market here. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just help people pick out stuff for their homes and make sure it gets done right.
