Darshan Color Lab

Darshan Color Lab is tucked away at 1/1A Malad West. We are right in the middle of L D Agogiya Chole in Mamldar Wadi. It's been our home for quite a while now. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a regular place with some display windows and a counter that has seen better days. Inside, it usually smells a bit like those chemicals we use for developing. We have these old machines that hum all day long. Sometimes they get a bit loud, but they still do the job. People from the neighborhood bring in their photos, sometimes on pendrives and sometimes those old rolls of film they found in a drawer. We just take them and get to work. It’s not a fancy studio with bright lights and assistants. It’s just us behind the counter, handling the prints and checking the colors. Mamldar Wadi is a busy little area, so there’s always noise coming from the street. We get the usual crowd of locals and sometimes people who are just passing through and need something printed quick. We don't really do the whole big marketing thing. Most folks just know we are here by the chole landmark. It’s a simple life, just making sure the pictures come out looking okay and keeping the equipment running. We stay open late most nights because that's when people have time to stop by after work. It’s just how we run things here.
