We have been operating out of 160 - D in the Oshiwara Industrial Centre for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, especially being right across from the Goregaon Bus Depot on the Link Road. If you know Goregaon West, you know how the traffic and the noise can be. Our unit is mostly filled with spools of wire and different types of cables. It gets pretty dusty and the air always has that heavy industrial feel to it. We spend most of our days just managing the stock and getting orders ready for the trucks. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s a working space where things actually get done. Sometimes the rain makes the Link Road a nightmare and our deliveries get a bit behind, but that is just part of being in this area. We’ve got a small team and we all know each other well. Most of us have been here for years. We aren't interested in being some big corporate entity. We just want to do our jobs and go home. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks. It’s a simple life. We deal with the copper, the plastic coatings, and the logistics every single day. It’s practical work. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the bus depot and the constant movement outside our doors. It’s just how things are for us here at Daman Wires Cables.
