Dahyalal Javeri

Finding us is pretty easy if you know where the Toyota showroom is on P.G. Marg. We are right across from it in the Link Palace building. Dahyalal Javeri has been in room A-2/518 for quite some time now. Malad West is always crowded, so there’s always noise from the street coming up. Mumbai-64 is a busy pin code. We don’t have a lot of extra space, but we make it work. The elevators in the building can be a bit slow in the morning when everyone is trying to get to their floor. It’s a typical Mumbai office building, really. We see the same security guards and neighbors every day. It feels like a small community inside a big city. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a place where we sit and handle our business. Some days are busier than others, especially when the traffic on P.G. Marg is backed up. You can hear the horns from the window. We’ve got our desks set up just the way we like them. It’s comfortable enough. If you’re coming by, look for the Link Palace sign. It’s a solid old building. We spend most of our daylight hours here. It’s funny how a small space becomes so familiar after a while. We know which floor tile is loose and which window lets in the best breeze. It’s our little corner of the city. We just stay focused on our daily routine.
