Our shop is number 5 in the Soni Diamond Building, which is right on Y. T. Road in Dahisar East. It’s a fairly small shop, but it serves us well for what we need to do. Being on Y. T. Road means we get a lot of people walking by on their way to other places, and sometimes they pop in just to see what we have. Inside, it’s a bit of a squeeze with all the items we try to keep on the shelves. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of us who take turns managing the counter and looking after the inventory. The building itself is one of those typical commercial structures you see around Dahisar. It’s not new, but it’s sturdy enough. Every morning, the first thing I do is sweep the floor and try to reorganize the things that got moved around the day before. We deal with various goods, and sometimes it takes a while to find a specific item when a customer asks for it. The afternoon usually gets a bit slow when the sun is high, so we might sit back for a bit and listen to the traffic outside. Then it picks up again in the evening when everyone is heading home from work. It’s a simple routine and we don't try to make it more complicated than it needs to be. We’re just here to run the shop and help the locals find what they are looking for.
