We have been at this spot on Senapati Bapat Marg for quite a while now. If you head down Bavani Shankar Road in Dadar West, you will find us easily enough. It is always busy around here with something moving. We mostly spend our time making labels for different products. It isn't fancy work, but someone has to do it. The machines make a lot of noise throughout the day. Some people think Maharashtra Label Manufacturer Co. is some big corporate office, but it is just a bunch of us working in a cramped space. We get orders and we finish them. That is the daily routine. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big batch comes in suddenly. We don't really have a fancy front desk or anyone to greet you. It is a workshop. You might see some of us grabbing tea from the stall nearby when we get a break. The area has changed a lot since we started. New buildings are coming up everywhere, but we are still here in the same old corner. We keep a stock of different materials and papers. Sometimes the ink gets on everything, and things get messy. That is just how it goes when you are printing all day long. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we are checking a file. Most of the work happens with our hands and the old presses. It's a living, and it keeps us out of trouble.
