Our place is in the Samruddhi Commercial Complex, unit 307 to be exact. It is right on Chincholi Bunder Road in Malad West. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded around here with all the shops and people moving about. We handle surgical supplies and equipment. Most of the time, the office is filled with boxes waiting to go out or new shipments coming in from the back. It is not the most organized looking place if you just walk in, but we know where everything is kept. The team here is small. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking lists to make sure hospitals get what they asked for. Malad is a good spot for us because of the transport links, even if the road gets blocked up sometimes. We do not have a reception desk or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk usually surrounded by files. We have been operating out of this complex for a good bit now. It gets noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just try to keep things moving along without making too much of a fuss about it. There is always someone drinking tea and looking at a ledger. It is a practical way to run a business and it keeps us busy from morning until we lock up in the evening.
