D. K. Jewellers

We are located on the first floor of the Malad Shopping Centre, specifically at unit 22-A. It’s not hard to find us if you’re coming from the station side, just look for the spot near Noble Publicity and head up the stairs. My family has been running D. K. Jewellers for quite a while now. The shop isn't anything fancy like those big chains you see on the main roads with the bright lights and security guards at every door. It’s a small place where we keep the glass cases clean and wait for the local regulars to drop by. Most people come to us because they need a gold chain repaired or they want to get a small ring sized. We do the work right there at the back. It can get a bit loud in the mall when the crowds pick up in the evening. Sometimes the fan in the corner makes a clicking sound that drives me crazy, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. We just focus on the jewelry and making sure the weights are exact. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We sit, we talk to the neighbors, and we handle the gold. There aren't any big speeches about what we do. We just open up the shutters every morning and stay until the mall closes up. If you need something fixed, you can just bring it in and we will take a look.
