Crystal Containers

If you ever find yourself walking down I.B. Patel Road in Goregaon East, you’ll probably see the sign for Acme Industrial Park. We are inside there, up in unit 111/404. Crystal Containers has been running out of this spot for a good bit of time. It’s a bit of a maze in this building, but once you find us, it’s mostly just rows of stock and a couple of us trying to keep everything organized. The elevators here can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. We spend most of our time dealing with the containers, checking sizes, and making sure the counts are right. It gets dusty, and the fans never seem to move quite enough air when it’s hot out, but that’s just how it is in an industrial park. We aren't big on meetings or fancy talk. Usually, it’s just someone shouting a question across the room and someone else shouting back the answer over the sound of tape dispensers. There is a small tea shop right outside the gate where we all end up eventually. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily load of shipments that come through. It’s a straightforward life here in Goregaon, keeping track of plastic and metal.
