Crompton Greaves Limited

Crompton Greaves Limited has been around for quite a while. Our office is in CG House on the sixth floor. You’ll find us on Dr. Annie Besant Road in the Worli area. It’s a well-known building in a very busy part of the city. Being on the sixth floor means we are a bit away from the street noise, though Worli is never really quiet. We’ve got a lot of history in this place. The office is spacious but it’s filled with people working on all sorts of engineering and electrical projects. It’s a big operation, but we try to keep things grounded. There’s a lot of movement throughout the day—engineers coming in, meetings in the glass rooms, and plenty of people at their computers. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the products are designed well and the business runs smoothly. The view towards the sea is okay on a clear day, but most of us are focused on our screens or the piles of drawings on our desks. Dr. Annie Besant Road is a main artery, so there’s always a flow of people and cars outside. We’ve seen the skyline of Worli change a lot from these windows over the decades. It’s a practical, busy place where we get things done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the office; it’s just where the daily work happens and where we spend most of our time.
