Crestron Impex

Crestron Impex is situated in Block G-10 E of the Laxmi Mill Compound on Shakti Mill Lane. We are right off Dr. E. Moses Road, which is a very busy part of Mumbai. The compound used to be an old textile mill, so the buildings have that old industrial feel with thick walls and high roofs. Our unit is packed with various goods because we handle a lot of imports. It is not a polished corporate office. It is more of a place where we manage logistics and keep an eye on our stock. There are boxes everywhere and the sound of the city is always coming in through the windows. The lane outside is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, everything else has to stop. We have learned to be patient with the chaos of the neighborhood. Our team consists of just a few people who handle everything from customs paperwork to physical inspections. We do not have any fancy meeting rooms. If a client comes by, we usually just pull up a spare chair and talk over a glass of water. It is a very down-to-earth way of working. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers tracking shipments from across the world. Despite being in a busy part of Mumbai, we have our own little rhythm inside the mill compound. It is just about getting the job done and staying organized in the middle of all the activity.
