We are located on the second floor of the Shubhangi CHS building, which sits right on Gavanpada Village Road in Mulund East. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if you aren't used to it, but this is where we handle all the shipping agency work. Mumbai is always moving, and being in Mulund means we are constantly dealing with the hustle of the city. Our office isn't very big, mostly just a few rooms filled with files and some old computers. We spend most of the morning on the phone talking to people at the docks or checking on where a container might be. The village road outside can get pretty packed with trucks and local traffic, so there is always noise coming through the windows. We have a small team here at number 10, and we've worked together long enough that we don't need to say much to get things done. It’s not a fancy place with modern furniture or anything. It is just a practical workspace where we manage the paperwork for sea cargo. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things difficult, but we just keep the files dry and stay at it. People in the building know us as the shipping guys. We don’t have a big reception area, just a desk near the door where we greet whoever comes in. We try to stay on top of the regulations and the schedules, which keeps us busy from morning until late evening.
